Tatiana and Barney
Taking in one of the malls in Lim Ket Kai Center. A guard accosted us dahil bawal daw mag kuha nang pictures. Didn't care because i have already taken the picture without flash.

This picture was amazing. You can see the different expressions of the face. If you also notice the lady carrying his dog. Trying her best to keep his dog dry.

This part wala pang rope. That is why they are linking arms so that those in the low lying areas can be rescued. The current in this part is so strong. Was even afraid that i might slip and may camera will go scuba diving

This is a picture of my distant cousin from the Mercado Clan side of the family helping one of the children during the flash flood in Cagayan de Oro last January 3, 2009.
After taking this picture had to run tot he house and secure a rope to help in the rescue effort. The current is very strong in this part. The road and the house acted like a funnel and this is the part where the water turns towards the river.

recycler trike
I took this picture in the border of Cagayan de Oro and Talakag, Bukidnon when my brother went white river rafting.
Its a tricycle that collect items that can be recycled. plastics, copper, iron, anything. This is important specially in areas that cant be serve by garbage collection.

Disabled Chicaron (Deep Fried Pork Skin) Vendor
This is a shot that i took just outside our house. Just using my old ps nikon coolpix.
Para mahiya yung mga tambay sa tapat nang store. Able body but does not work. This guy is disabled but works hard to earn a honest living.

We sent this man through vocational school as a mechanic and an electrician. Now he is the one who repairs and change oil the pickup.

Bruno 3 - My pug
This my pug. 13 red marks. PCCI registered.
I got it when he is an adult and the owner didn't know that he has 13 red marks, she only had the litter ticket. We only learned to our pleasant surprise when we registered the dog. Got it only for P 17,000.00. It should be worth more than than. Much more than that.
He was actually left under our care. And the owner ask us if she can have him back because she will be selling him. We offered to buy him instead.
White River Rafting @ CDO
This is a photo of the White River Rafting in Cagayan de Oro City. My brother and his classmate from the Nationa Defence College of the Philippines took the advance course.
I took this shot at the area where the beginners course starts.
The beginners course is where President Arroyo started his course but i think she only took about 2 rapids. At one time when the sexbomb dancers took the course a hanging bridge collapse because it was full of people. Ralf Recto to was only able to last about 2 rapids.
At the back of the church
This is a shot that i took at the back of the San Agustin Cathedral at Cagayan de Oro City. I took it from the other side of the Cagayan de Oro River. This picture was taken around 5:30. I deliberately underexposed the picture.
My friends used to dive under it. According to them there is a tunnel under the church. But this was later sealed. According to them there is a catacomb under the church.
Maybe this fueled the legend of Oro. Oro is a legendary giant fish that allegedly live under a tunnel under the church. This tunnel leads from under the church to the Macabalan Wharf/Pier. The fish is also allegedly golden. And when ever the fish move this causes an earthquake. And that every year it ask for a sacrifice of human life and in fact the river take at least one life every year.
Carmen River Skim Boarder
I once walked along the Cagayan de Oro River. I then saw that it was low tide and the sand bar has emerge. It was a very big sand bar. It wasnt this big before. Maybe because the river is already heavily silted.
There were several people on the sandbar. One family is walking with there baby. There were several kids playing with the sand. There were some kids gathering sand to sell per sack.
There were also this kids on the one side of the sand bar who have a skim board. Took this photo of one of the kid when they were about to go home. Medyo twilight na and it was hard to take some picture without flash.
using my d60 and kit lens. Post process using Adobe lightroom 2. Vignette. Since the picture was a bit noisy it converted the photo to monochrome and use yung old photo setting. Sorry i just dont remember the exact process i made.

Cagayan de Oro Bridge @ night
This is a picture of the Cagayan de Oro Bridge. This picture was taken on the Carmen side of the river. The Cagayan de Oro City Hall and Tourism Building is on the right side of the picture. The Tourism hall is actually a misnomer because it does not function as such.
n a few months this view will change. The city government is developing the area near the city hall. This will be known as the Golden Mile. They have started to pile drive the area near city hall and the one near old floating restaurant. Maybe i should take a picture of the construction.
The floating restaurant is no longer existing. it was swift away during the flash flood last January. There were actually 2 floating restaurant in the area both did not survive the flash flood last January 4, 2009.
